Huawei Ascend Mate Quad core phablet

 Huawei officially launched their supersized pocket cinema phablet. The Huawei Ascend Mate is their largest smartphone so far having a 6.1-inch HD screen.

The Huawei Ascend Mate has a screen-to-body ratio of 73% which is currently the highest in the market. The 6.1-inch HD IPS+ LCD screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 and Magic Touch for screen responsiveness even when used with gloved fingers. That display, along with 6.5mm thin (on its narrowest part) gives you a huge viewing area on a device that you can comfortably hold with one hand.

It uses the same 1.5GHz Huawei K3V2 quad-core chip as their Ascend D1 Quad XL along with a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage plus a microSD slot. There’s an 8.0 megapixel AF rear-facing camera and a 1.2-megapixel HD front-facing one.

With Huawei’s proprietary Quick Power Control and Automated Discontinuous Reception power-saving technology, the Ascend Mate can provide up to two days of ordinary usage on a single charge of its 4050mAh battery. It also has a fast charging capability which saves over 30% of battery charging time.
The Huawei Ascend Mate is already available in stores for Php17,190.It is also available for free from Globe via MySuperPlan Plan 999. Also available in Plan 499 with a P200 monthly cashout over a 24-month contract period.
